July Members of the Month

Our ‘Member of the Month’ awards for July are Mathy Nathan, Karen Goldfine and Jacinta Hills.

Bexley Member of the Month

Mathy Nathan

Mathy has been a member at Reynolds for a year. She had used gyms many years ago but had not done anything for a long time and wanted Reynolds to help her get into fitness. She now attends the gym 5 times per week.

Mathys’ main achievement in her time at Reynolds has been learning how to swim. She has been swimming with our personal trainer Emma once a week and has done really well. She can now confidently swim lengths of backstroke and breastroke and is currently working on her front crawl technique.

Mathy also regularly attends a variety of classes. Mathy has seen a lot of positive changes since joining the gym. Her frozen shoulder no longer causes her any pain, she feels a lot fitter and doesn’t suffer from tiredness anymore and has lost weight.

“Since joining Reynolds I feel like a different person. I never imagined that I would be able to swim and with Emma’s help I now feel confident in the water. Reynolds has a different feel to it than most gyms and has made me feel comfortable. I love the classes and never want to miss them.”

Rainham Member of the Month

Karen Goldfine

Karen has been a valued member with us for 6 years now and is a friendly familiar face we look forward to seeing each week. Karen stands out within the gym environment for her consistency and dedication. She is a focussed member and attends around 8-10 classes each week. Within the class environment Karen is very competent and able, her strength and stamina has improved a lot over the years. Karen always gives 110% and tries her hand at anything. In the past few months Karen has shown a huge improvement in technique. Her fitness levels have stayed consistently at a very high level; this is due to the variety in her training. Which includes HITT training Resistance training, Zumba classes, Stretch and Tone classes Abs blast and much more.

We nominated Karen for her commitment and dedication. She never misses class and always turns up with a positive attitude ready to work hard. Even when doing 3 classes back to back she is still full of beans, motivates others and keeps everyone’s energy levels up. Karen is a pleasure to have in any class, she lifts up the moral and her energy is contagious. Karen recently took part In Hayley’s “Zumb-a-thon” raising money for charity, she lasted the full 3 hours high intensity none stop cardio workout.

After 6 years with us she is still showing the same enthusiasm and determination. Well done Karen, keep up the hard work.

“When I joined Reynolds I thought that doing a couple of classes would help to vary my workout, and I am so glad I did! Not only have my fitness levels and technique improved, but I have made some really good friends too. The instructors are brilliant, they constantly push us all to try our hardest and the camaraderie is amazing, we all spur each other on. Joining Reynolds and attending the classes has definitely been a great experience and enhanced my love of exercise.”

Jacinta Hills

Jacinta is a lovely lady who never gives up! She’s recently been going out of her comfort zone by trying out running & Keiser Cycling. She’s very determined and always comes in several times a week without fail.

“Jacinta is someone who never liked coming out of her comfort zone, but after personal training with Martyn, she was pushed to her max and now is full of confidence and drive.”
