RPA is a full-time, three year course for students aged 16+ who want a career in the Performing Arts. Musical Theatre or Acting pathways available!
Students cover all disciplines needed to build physical and mental strength, develop performance skills and expression, and improve their technique – in singing, acting, all genres of dance, as well as tutorials, workshops with leading professionals in the industry, audition technique, and more! There are also additional opportunities outside of college hours to enter into LAMDA exams, have private singing lessons or attend improvers dance classes and achieve vocational qualifications in Dance.
Reynolds Performing Arts recognise that maths and English A’ level qualifications are important to your future. If you don’t have these qualifications when you arrive at RPA, and you would like to study A ‘level English and/or Maths, we can, subject to eligibility, offer these courses and support you throughout your journey to gain and build these qualifications into your vocational training.
All RPA tutors have worked or continue to work professionally and are exceptional mentors. Our college is small, meaning we can focus on each student as an individual – Be a name, not a number!
‘Reynolds has given me exceptional training in the performing arts, it has provided all the tools needed for me to succeed in this career path as well as offering me constant support throughout my time here. The college is constantly finding new ways to improve itself and I think that’s why all the students here strive to better themselves too.’
Hayley Cann (2017 Graduate)
‘The progress and transformation I have made throughout my three years has been solely down to the incredible faculty at RPA. Having industry professionals teach you everyday and pass on their experience and knowledge is a massive privilege. As Head Boy, I had the pleasure of over seeing the involvement of the students, and representing my peers in college events. I’m excited for the opportunities that RPA will open up for me as a graduate.’
Cameron Shorter (2018 graduate)
‘I am extremely proud to have been a student at Reynolds Performing Arts. We had amazing, talented teachers who helped make me a more confident and better person. Auditioning for this college was the best decision I have ever made!’
Rachel Donnellan (2018 graduate)
As soon as I walk through the doors at Reynolds, I know it’s going to be a good teaching day – the staff are so friendly and the students are so co-operative and excited to learn and better themselves. Criticism shouldn’t always be taken as negative, and for me, it is so lovely to see the students take the notes and correct themselves, and want to improve. It is always such a great atmosphere when teaching at Reynolds, filled with positivity, great energy and a room full of hard workers. I have always felt very welcome, and would recommend Reynolds to any of my students, wishing to further their education.

‘Walking in to RPA, you are instantly greeted with warmth and professionalism, both by the students and staff. Having run a 3rd year industry workshop, casting agents can be assured that it is the likes of RPA that are producing such a high calibre of performer, very impressive.’
