About Auditions

Your audition requirements will differ depending on the pathway you have chosen. If you are unsure at this stage please audition for the musical theatre pathway.

Attend dance workshop classes in Ballet and Jazz
(required for musical theatre or dance pathways)
Candidates wishing to be considered for the Dance Pathway will also need to prepare a dance solo of approximately 1 minute 30 seconds in a discipline of their own choice.

Attend an acting workshop
(required for musical theatre or acting pathways)
Candidates wishing to be considered for the Acting Pathway will also need to prepare a monologue of up to 2 minutes.

Singing audition
(required for musical theatre pathway)
Candidates should prepare a musical theatre song of 32 bars/1 minute in length.

All candidates will also be interviewed by the Programme Manager and Assistant Programme Manager.
During the interview, questions will be asked that are pertinent to the candidate’s goals, aspirations and prior academic and performance achievement(s).

All auditions are in person at our Dartford site however, in special circumstances, we may accept a virtual audition.
