Our Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy Massage has been designed to develop the knowledge and skills required for the job role of beauty massage therapist.
This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a beauty massage therapist including:

Provide body massage treatments

Provide indian head massage

Carry out massage using pre blended aromatherpy oils

Provide stone therapy treatments

Monitor procedures to safely control work operations

Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities

When does the course start?
Next intake is September 2025, with additional start dates throughout 2026.
Am I eligible to join?
- You must not actively be enrolled in, or attending, another
government funded course. - You must have been living in the UK or EU for 3 years+
How many days a week is the course?
The course is 1 day per week, for 24 weeks.
How much is the course?
The course cost is £3345. An advanced learner loan is available to cover the fees of the course. You can also pay privately. For more information please speak to a member of our staff. There is also a registration fee of £121.
Are there any entry requirements?
A previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in beauty therapy is preferred but not required. You will need to pass an initial interview and skills assessment in order to be accepted onto the course.
Do I need to buy any Kit or uniform?
A kit list will be sent to you to purchase before the start of the course. The current kit cost is £75.15 (subject to change).
You will also be required to purchase uniform as per our uniform policy.
What could this lead to?
This qualification will prepare you for employment as a beauty massage therapist. You will also be eligible to join a professional association and gain insurance as a beauty massage therapist.
Career opportunities as a beauty massage therapist exist in a variety of contexts, including:
- Working in commercial beauty salons
- Working in destination and day spas
- Working independently/self-employed/mobile/home-based settings
- Working in retreat settings
Who Supports this Qualification?
This qualification is based on the beauty therapy National Occupational Standards (NOS) and is recognised by the UK's leading professional associations; the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) and the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) as being fit for purpose to confirm your competence as a beauty massage therapist.
Holders of this qualification are eligible to become a professional member of BABTAC. Further information on BABTAC membership can be found on their website.
