Butt Blaster Bootcamp

Butt Blaster Bootcamp – Every Saturday 11:00 – 11:30 - Only at Sittingbourne

This lower body, butt destroying workout creates a ‘premier derriere’ and lean and conditioned legs. This workout hits the lower body from every angle and introduces you to multi-directional exercises using barbells for added resistance or simply by using body weight alone. Guys don’t be fooled, this isn’t just a class for the ladies, come and give it a go!

Bender Ball

Bender Ball

Come and experience a low to no impact, full body workout that is driven from the core. The Bender Ball method of training is unique and dynamic and creates amazing results for the posture and the abdominals. The Bender Ball curl is 4 times more effective than regular abdominal curls. This is a great beginners class. Great for 6 week post natal mums and those suffering with weak a pelvic floor and or lower limb joint injuries.

Body Combat

Body Combat

This is a Les Mills choreographed exercise to music. It is an energetic program inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Body Combat reduces stress, improves general well-being whilst encouraging assertiveness and self confidence. This is a mixed ability class.

Body Pump

Body Pump

This is a Les Mills choreographed exercise to music. High repetition weight training and aerobic conditioning. It will tone your body, help you lose weight and will change your body shape. Please speak to the instructor, before the class commences, if you are unsure if this is the right class for you.

Express Core

Express Core

This 30 minute class will concentrate spending 15 minutes on all abdominal muscles, obliques, lower back, and MORE. Plus 15 minutes stretch and flex to help improve muscle suppleness and improve flexibility.

Fighting Fit

Fighting Fit

A classic combat-combo style circuit session suitable for anybody who wants a workout without the choreography. Easy and effective moves are put together to form a multi-level workout gradually building up your fitness level and agility. Your instructor sets the pace, yet you can workout to your own ability.

HIIT

HIIT

High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a type of cardio training in which you alternate short, very high intensity intervals with longer, slower intervals to recover. It also improves the ability of the muscles to burn fat. If you like HIIT classes you will also enjoy Insanity, Fighting Fit & Bootcamp.

Aqua

Aqua

With aerobics, toning and aqua circuit, it's a total body workout for the pool. This session is great if you want the workout without the impact. Appropriate swim gear required.

INSANITY

INSANITY®

INSANITY® turns old-school interval training on its head. It takes MAX INTERVAL TRAINING to the ultimate level! Your body keeps performing at it's maximum capacity through your entire workout. This class will incorporate plyometric and calisthenic movements which may not be suitable for those suffering from joint problems. Please speak to your instructor to see if this class is suitable for you.

Kettlercise

Kettlercise

Kettlercise uses light weights and is set out in a none stop routine that will work every single muscle in your body to ensure you melt away fat, tone up, improve core stability and dramatically improve endurance. This class will incorporate weighted calisthenic moves which may not be suitable for those already suffering from musculoskeletal injuries. Please speak to your instructor to see if this class is suitable for you.

Beginners LBT

Beginners Legs, Bums, Tums

The structure of this low impact session is based around conditioning Legs, Bums and Tums and avoiding extreme postures while targeting prime moving muscle groups. The BenderBall Philosophy is applied focusing on lower back conditioning and it's a great way to learn more about your body's biomechanics at a gentle pace.

My Ride (MA)

My Ride

Our group cycling program takes great influences from actual outdoor cycling. My Rides are high energy, calorie burning, indoor cycling classes suited for mixed fitness abilities. Instructors will specialise in some or all of the following: endurance, fitness, strength, interval and triathlon profiles. There is plenty of variety for everyone.

Beginners Chakra Ride (MA)

Beginners Chakra Ride

The is a great beginners ride focusing on: VO2 max training (improving oxygen uptake), build up respiratory fitness using WATTs, increase liver function to develop metabolic rate (burn fat as fuel), soothe endocrine system to reduce cortisol (stress) levels, encourage the growth of lean muscle to improve muscular fitness (body sculpting). This restorative style of cycling will benefit your joints and your inner body. This is ideal if you have never done spin before.

My Virtual Ride (MA)

My Virtual Ride

This is a virtual spin class (no instructor) where the My Ride Console will have a virtual instructor guide you through a visual workout displayed on our Virtual Screen.

RBT Zone (MA)

Results Based Training Zone

Results Based Training Zone is a functional fitness mixed ability training session limited to a maximum of 8 people. The instructor is able to offer a unique bespoke class structure in the Functional Training Zone (located in the gym) using various functional equipment such as: kettlebells, keiser cycle, punching bag, TRX, Climbing Wall, Kenesis and more. This is a great class for those who prefer a smaller class structure, freestyle coaching, and variety in their workout regime.

Rehab Circuits (MA)

Rehab Circuits

Rehab Circuits classes have evolved out of the need to have specialised, controlled classes structure to the needs of members suffering with musculoskeletal injuries and limited mobility. This is a slower paced, close-chained, low or no impact class limited to 8 people Maximum.

Bootcamp (MA)

Bootcamp

Bootcamp is a mixed ability, intensive military boot camp designed around military fitness and training. All classes are outdoors and are lead by our military trained instructor around The Retreat's outdoor assault course.

Get involved in the biggest fitness craze of the decade - Zumba®. It's perfect for everybody and is designed to bring people together. It's fused with Latin and World rhythms, mixed with low and high intensity dance moves and a super fun way to burn calories.

Zumba Gold (MA)

Zumba Gold®

Perfect for more active mature adults who require a modified Zumba® class at a lower intensity. You still get a great cardiovascular workout while sculpting your body and improving flexibility and balance.

Water Works (MA)

WaterWorks

WaterWorks is an effective 45-60 minute total body workout where you are immersed in a fun environment and can choose your intensity level. Splash your way to a better body improving your cardio fitness an agility. No swimming skills required. Swim suits are required.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga

Traditional Hatha yoga is the foundation for all other yoga practices and poses. It is a physical and spiritual discipline which aims to bring the mind and body into balance. It is usually well-suited for beginners, anyone with mobility issues, seniors, pregnant women (with modifications). Most of our yoga instructors will incorporate a mixture of the yoga styles into their class structure.

Power Yoga

Power Yoga

Power yoga is a very active and athletic yoga forms. It consist of many of the Ashtanga poses and includes additional strength moves and core work. This is a very challenging classes and not suitable for: the beginner, those with limited mobility and shoulder injuries.

Freestyle Yoga

Freestyle Yoga

This is a mindful yoga programme that reflects the Buddhist traditions of Yoga in a more contemporary and social environment. It incorporates stretch, strength and yoga postures sequenced together to music. Extreme poses are avoided. This class is good for improving your strength and flexibility. You will learn how to understand your body and begin to more more effectively, improving posture, self awareness and confidence. A true beginner to yoga may find this class a little too challenging.

Tai Chi

This is a Chinese exercise system that uses slow, relaxing and smooth body movements to a state of relaxation of both mind and body. uplifting workout. It will soothe your heart and enrich your soul.

Body Balance

This is a Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

Pilates

This is an exercise system that focuses on stretching and strengthening the whole body to improve balance, musclestrength, flexibility and posture. It was created by German born Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s and incorporates elements of yoga, martial arts and Western forms of exercise.

30-45 minute indoor cycle. Build up respiratory fitness and improve metabolic rate (burn fat as fuel). A fun and challenging cardiovascular workout for all levels. Experience a full ride of hills, sprints and endurance intervals with energizing music and motivational instruction.

Abs Blast

A fun packed 30 minutes designed to tone, build and strengthen the abdominal muscles. Abs Blast uses various skills and techniques to target the core muscles; including floor routines, full body stretches and fast-paced exercises.class focuses on the core muscles and targets the lower back. Suitable for all levels.

30 minute low impact work out that is driven from the core. Pilates based core work creates amazing results for the posture and abdominals. Great for 6 weeks post natal mums and those suffering with weak pelvic floor or lower limb joint injuries.

Stretch & Tone

Stretch & Tone

45 – 60 minute class using concepts of Yoga Pilates and general stretching. Toning your abs, glutes, legs and arms. Pushing your flexibility and strength. Leaving you feeling centred and calm. Stay firm and work your muscles to move better with a carefully structured series of stretches. Suitable for all levels.

Boxercise

Boxercise

60 minute class using boxing pads and gloves. Full body high intensity workout. Involves partner work, boxing combinations and circuits. Suitable for those looking to try something new in their fitness regime and who have a basic level of fitness.

Resistance Training

Resistance Training

60 minute full body workout. High repetition weight training and aerobic conditioning using barbells and dumbbells. It will tone your body, help you lose weight and will change your body shape. Suitable for all levels. Beginner – advanced.

Circuit Training

Circuit Training

30 – 45 minute whole body workout. The studio is set up with various exercise stations, you'll move around each station and workout different muscle groups. You'll work hard and test both your cardio and strength for an all-round challenge. Suitable for all levels as participants work at an individual pace.

Functional Training

Functional Training

30 – 45minute class, train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks. Using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, a boot camp style class using different equipment such as VIPRS, Kettle bells, Core bags and Resistance bands. This is a high intensity class combining different exercises to build strength and stamina.
