Progression For Beauty Therapy Learners

Level 2:

Once you have completed the level 2 qualification, you can progress to the level 3 course at Reynolds Training Academy. Alongside completing the level 3 qualification, you can look for positions in salons/spas or concession stands that offer level 2 treatments, waxing, manicures, pedicures, etc. Progressing to the level 3 course at Reynolds, training includes body massage, stone therapy massage, Indian head massage, aromatherapy massage, electrical facials, and event planning.

Whilst this qualification’s primary purpose is to prepare learners for employment as a junior beauty therapist, learners may choose to develop their skills further.

Level 3:

Once you have completed the level 3 qualification, you can apply for most salon/spa positions. You can also progress onto level 4 qualification. Level 4 includes laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, microdermabrasion, salon management and microbiology.

With the level 3 qualification, you can progress into the industry, whether cruise ships, spas, salons, or mobile spas. Training with Reynolds allows you to apply and be interviewed at our Reynolds group spas.

Level 4:

You will already hold your level 3 qualification and be secure. This qualification will allow you better to understand the body’s A&P and salon management. Level 4 enables you to broaden your horizons in beauty therapy and qualifies you to run a salon/spa or your own business.

The primary purpose of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment in the advanced aesthetic industry, providing hair reduction and skin rejuvenation treatments using LASER and Intense Pulsed Light Systems. Additionally, learners may choose to further develop their knowledge and skills by completing supplementary specialist qualifications at level 5 in the following areas:
