Matrix CIC Inspection

MATRIX CIC INSPECTION

We are delighted to announce RTA passed the Matrix CIC Assessment with flying colours. The feedback was amazing and all credit to the staff input and their hard work.

Matrix is quality standard for information advice and guidance services.

Some of the brilliant feedback received:

  • RTA’s IAG service is delivered with a focus upon fulfilling dreams and igniting a passion to succeed in the learner’s chosen sector. This is achieved at the same time as ensuring the support is both realistic and relevant to the individual, the sector and the economy.
  • The organisation showcased its culture of evolution and striving for excellence through business development and continuous improvement.
  • Staff at all stages of the IAG journey are highly competent and it is clear that they continue to benefit from continuous professional development.

Learner Feedback

LEARNER FEEDBACK

“My tutor has been amazing in supporting me personally and professionally. I had an absolute fear of not being able to graduate when the pandemic hit, but amazing support from my tutor meant that I did graduate earlier this month. And now, I am feeling very prepared for my future”

“The supplementary courses have given me an extra confidence within the industry where I can combine beauty and fitness treatments with my clientele. The whole Rainham centre experience has just been of a really high quality”

“I would like to applaud how the college has helped us to settle back into the Dartford centre from a starting point that was 100% Zoom based. Many of us, as students, were anxious about returning to the centre but needn’t have been. We feel covid safe and meeting with my tutor face to face again is so important to my sense of stability. This place is just top!”

Carly Dodds

CARLY DODDS – LEAD TUTOR FOR RPA AND QUALIFICATIONS QA

My role at RPA has gone from a casual 1.5 days a week teaching Tap and MT Rep in September 2017, to full-time and Assistant Programme Manager for Performing Arts from April 2021 onwards! I love it at Reynolds because the students want to learn and the staff want to teach – it’s really tight-knit and the vibes are amazing. I love the performances we produce.

Carly’s Theatre Credits:

We Only Have This (Cambridge Junction), Musical Starnights (European Tour), From Up Here (Tristan Bates Theatre), Women’s Revenge (The Lord Stanley, Camden), Hitler! (Edinburgh Festival), The Portable Emporium (The Roundhouse, Camden), The Cemetery Ball (The Prince of Wales Theatre) and Mother Goose (Greenwich Theatre).

Other Credits:

Mirage/Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines and Carnival Cruise Lines.

Carly has also taught at Bodens College, The Brit School and Urdang.

Adam Leese

ADAM LEESE – HEAD OF ACTING AND YEAR 1 TUTOR

I am currently the Head of Acting and Year 1 Tutor after starting at Reynolds roughly 5 years ago as a part time acting tutor. Thanks to Reynolds I am now doing my lvl 5 qualification in Teaching and Education, which I’m really enjoying, and I feel it’s giving me a lot more confidence in teaching. There are lots of things that I enjoy, working at Reynolds. I like the UAL framework, which allows us to be creative with the projects that we work on with the students. But what I really like is the Reynolds community. We have a great bunch of talented students who work so hard and it’s incredibly rewarding to see them develop into confident performers. I’m also so lucky to be working with such an inspiring, talented and supportive faculty, who are always on hand for advice and a laugh, and many have become friends for life!

Adam has been a professional actor for the past 23 years and has performed in films such as ‘Bridget Jones’ Baby’, ‘Attack The Block’, ‘The Kid Who Would Be King’ and ‘The King of Thieves’, alongside Sir Michael Caine. TV credits include Eastenders, Broadchurch, Humans, Bad Girls and The I.T Crowd.

Adam has taught Acting Workshops worldwide at institutions such as The Beijing Film Academy, The National Theatre of China and the East Connecticut University. Adam was also a Youth Mentor and voting member for BAFTA.
