Training at RPA provides students with a broad and varied curriculum with specialist pathways to choose from; Musical Theatre, Dance and Acting. The three areas of study enable RPA students to realise and fine tune their passion in readiness for progressing into the professional world of theatre and entertainment or moving onto further education and/or other careers.

The teaching staff at RPA is of the highest standard with many tutors working in the musical theatre, dance and acting industry. As well as being incredible practitioners, the staff are able to bring current trends and styles that are relevant to the students training. As future artists and practitioners the students leave RPA with 1st class information, theoretical and practical knowledge that is proven in the success of our graduates.

Amanda is passionate about the training and pastoral support as well as widening participation and access to performance. In 2019 Amanda launched ‘Company X’ which is an in-house ‘audition only’ class that is run in the same way as a professional company class and performance. Students are able to audition for a variety of Company X classes and can continue to be a member of Company X even after graduating. Not only is this a great insight into professional company performance but it develops creativity, expression and collaborative ways of working.

Amanda leads the college with passion and a focus on wellbeing which is absorbed throughout the college. The RPA community is a place where aims, goals, dreams and ambitions are nurtured so that students and staff thrive and develop to be the best that they can be!
