Call Centre Operative

The Reynolds Retreat Reynolds is family run business with more than 20 years experience in the health and fitness industry. We have four health and fitness spas across Kent, with the latest being our beautiful Retreat located in Sevenoaks.

Bar Staff/Waiter

The Reynolds Retreat, Borough Green is a busy Fitness Spa with restaurant, bar and function room.

We have various hours available on a casual/part time basis but you would need to be available Saturday and Sunday.

Call Centre Manager

Job Purpose:

Specification:

  • Ensure the company sales procedure is followed and maintained to the correct standard
  • Ensure the call centre staff’s phone manner is appropriate at all times.
  • To carry out Regular staff meetings with all staff and monthly one-ones

Job Purpose

Food and Beverage Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To be involved in the setting of department targets and objectives, and to monitor and strive for their achievement

  • To assist the General Manager in the control of wage costs in line with budgetary requirements

Sous Chef

Works alongside head chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking. Provides meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes.

Sous Chef Job Duties:

  • Leads kitchen team in chef's absence
  • Provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
  • Oversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients
  • Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
  • Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
  • Hires and trains new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards
  • Manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimises waste, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns
  • Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
  • Works with head chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities
  • Verifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed
  • Assists head chef with menu creation
  • Coordinates with restaurant and Country Club management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing

Spa Manager

The Reynolds Group has an exciting opportunity for a Spa Manager in Borough Green, Sevenoaks to join their hugely successful organisation. The main responsibilities for this role will be Managing the Team of 9 therapists, ensuring the quality of all treatments delivered are to the standards excepted both by company and clients, supervision of the treatments and associated areas, working with other senior members of the team to ensure the smooth running of department and increase the revenue performance of the Spa working to Targets and profit margins.

Duties include:

  • Following all protocols in place for all treatments and products, making sure all therapists are working in line with these and to the same standards.
  • Dealing with all customer queries efficiently and effectively in order to maximise satisfaction and their experience.
  • Carrying out professional massage, body, facial and nail treatments to our guests and as the business Requires deliver these sessions.
  • Ensuring all guest spa journey experiences are in line with company guidelines, including meet and greeting, during and after treatments.
  • Ensuring guests return and have and excellent impression of the company.
  • Recruitment of new therapists, including trade testing and reference checking.
  • General staffing support to include writing Rotas, motivating, training and developing therapists to make sure they are working to the best of their abilities.
  • Carrying out tours of the facilities when needed.
  • Develop and implement marketing and offers for the Spa Business.
  • Working to KPI’s and Forecasting target.
  • Stock Control.
  • Drive the business using innovative techniques to become the most successful spa.
  • Effective communication with all suppliers, manufactures and 3rd party Booking companies.
  • Knowledge of online booking systems.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience within Spa Therapist roles, with experience of working in senior capacity

Personal Trainer

16 Hours per Week

Reynolds Retreat have a rare and exciting job opportunity available for a level 3 qualified Personal Trainer at our state of the art Retreat in Borough Green, Kent.

We are an extremely friendly facility with a close working team, so are looking for someone who is outgoing and always happy to help. Our member satisfaction is our number one priority so the successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, hard working and have the ability to think for themselves whilst working to hit their personal and club targets.

The Job

We are looking for 16 hours of gym floor work which will include:

  • Personal Training on shift (paid at a competitive rate)
  • Delivering one to one sessions and inductions
  • Creating programmes
  • Internal classes (paid at a competitive rate)
  • Maintenance and testing of the spa
  • Maintenance of the equipment
  • General running of the club

Off shift personal training will be paid in addition to your usual wage at a competitive rate.

Previous experience is desired but not necessary however you must hold a level 3 personal training qualification and be a team player.


Sous Chef

40 Hours per Week

Job Purpose

The post holder will report directly to the Beauty Manager and be responsible for the general day to day running of the spa and its large team of highly skilled therapists.

  • Training in Decleor or Environ skincare would be an advantage however full training will be provided by the company.

I joined Reynolds as an apprentice in 2009. After completing my Level 2 fitness Instructor course I was offered a full time job at Bexley. I then went on to complete my level 3 personal training qualification with Reynolds. After 3 years with the company on the gym floor, I was appointed Fitness Team Leader at our Bexley branch. Following my achievements and progression, one year after that became General Manager. In 2016, after a restructure of the company I became the Area General Manager for the three fitness spas, Bexley, Rainham and Sittingbourne which I still thoroughly enjoy and am excited for the future of my role.

Jordan Sands – Personal Trainer, Reynolds Fitness Spa Bexley & The Reynolds Retreat

I have been with Reynolds for around 8 years, I started of doing the Level 2 fitness instructor course and then continued to the Level 3 Personal Trainer course. Whilst on the courses, I worked at Reynolds Fitness Spa Bexley, learning whilst the courses were running. Upon completion of the course I was then asked to become a member of the team as a casual member of staff, quickly progressing to a permanent member of staff. Throughout my time at Reynolds I have completed many courses that include kettlebell, outdoor fitness, keiser cycling and sports conditioning. I have also built up a large, regular PT client base and now also work at dual sites Bexley and The Retreat. I have also recently qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist, all through out sister company, Reynolds Training Academy. What I love about working for Reynolds is the great members that we have and the friendly atmosphere we get to work in. The support from the managers and other members of staff spreads the family feel throughout the business. I started working for Reynolds in January 2010 as maternity cover on the reception desk at Bexley; initially this was for a 12 month period. When I first started at Reynolds I was shy and unconfident, however, working with a fantastic team and amazing members my confidence grew fairy quickly. I progressed to become the Head/Senior receptionist which gave me a number of extra responsibilities to up hold.

For the past 5 years I have worked within the Reynolds Head Office, on the Accounts & Administration team. I never dread the idea of going into work and every day can be very different from the previous!

Reynolds have given me the chance to learn new roles and grow not only as a person but provided me the opportunities to evolve my abilities within the work environment. Even now nearly 8 years later I am still developing new skills which I absolutely love.


Emma Wilson, Administrator

I have worked for Reynolds now for 7 years. I was a mum returning to work after many years of being at home. As many mum’s do, I wanted to return to work to give me some confidence and to help the family financially. I started working part-time as a receptionist never even thinking about having goals and a career path. After 1 year, I changed to full time, working within the Call Centre. I was then promoted to manage the Call Centre and have now moved even further into Administration and Finance. Never in my wildest dreams did I believe I would be able to reach such a position when I started 7 years ago. Reynolds has given me the confidence and the ability to be able to do so. Martyn Neaves, General Manager, Reynolds Fitness Spa, Sittingbourne

I started at Reynolds Sittingbourne on the 1st day of opening back in March 2008. I was only a Level 2 Fitness Instructor with only circuits to my name in classes. Previous to my time at Reynolds, I worked at another gym for 3 years only as a Level 2 Instructor, with little progression available.

Upon beginning my new opportunity, I received 1 months training at the Bexley Club before starting at Sittingbourne to be trained the Reynolds Way. As Sittingbourne was their new club, we had to ensure the smooth running from the very beginning.

After a year of working for Reynolds I gained the qualification of the Level 3 Personal Training course though the Reynolds Training Academy. From there I was able to begin training clients and helping them achieve their goals. I take real pride in not only having a large amount of Personal Training sessions a month, but ensuring they are of a high quality to maintain retention.

Reynolds prides themselves on being able to progress and reward their staff with courses.

In June 2017 I was asked if I could be Acting General Manger of Reynolds Fitness Spa Sittingbourne until they found a replacement GM. In this time I had so much support, enjoyed this position so much that it had grown my self-confidence that I applied for the vacant General Managers role. When the director of the Fitness Spa then offered me the role, I, of course, was ecstatic. I honestly feel Reynolds have made me grow professionally and as a person. My passion for the company is easy to see to everyone. I will and always have put 110% into Reynolds as I believe it is a great company to work for in everyway.


Amie Donnelly, Senior Beauty Therapist, Reynolds Fitness Spa Sittingbourne

Starting on the first beauty course Reynolds offered at the Sittingbourne club in 2011 my Reynolds Journey Began.

With Reynolds I qualified in Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy.

After qualifying at the Reynolds Training Academy, Reynolds Fitness Spa offered me a position as a Spa Therapist and over the 18 months of working there I gained a lot of confidence. Being new to the industry Reynolds allowed me to grow as a therapist.

Being young and adventurous I decided to leave Reynolds in 2013 to pursue other opportunities. One of which was to work on-board a cruise ship, which the training and experience I’ve had with Reynolds previously led me to, which I will always be grateful for.

After 2 years of living at sea I felt it was time to come home. I’d had other offers and job prospects following my return, which I felt it didn’t give me complete job satisfaction. I started looking for something new and challenging, coincidentally the first job that came up was Reynolds looking for a new Spa Therapist.

At first I did feel I could be going backwards in my career so I took the job with the intention of something for the time being but I couldn’t have been more wrong, I re joined the Reynolds team in September 2016 after 3 years of being away and it was a great feeling to be back. I really had come home and I questioned why I hadn’t done it sooner.

In March 2017 6 months being back at Reynolds they offered me a promotion as Head Therapist which I was extremely honoured and couldn’t refuse. This felt as though, once again Reynolds was investing in me as a valued member of their team. This is why I like working for Reynolds as they invest in their staff, allowing us to grow and progress and I’m really excited about my future with them.


Hayley Faye Reinprecht, Fitness Professional

Reynolds became my home from home in September 2008 when I moved 300 miles south from my home town of Middlesbrough all the way to Bexley. I had auditioned for Reynolds Performing Arts academy, gained a place on the 3 year Musical Theatre course and was lucky enough to be awarded a full scholarship to fund my training which is something I am very grateful to Reynolds for offering me. Alongside training on the full time Performing arts course, Reynolds also offered us further training on the fitness course. The opportunities we were offered were amazing. During my 3 years at college I worked as a Receptionist at the Bexley Fitness Spa. I literally spent every day and night at Reynolds, training at the college all day and working evenings and weekends. Safe to say that I loved my training and loved my job so it never felt like a chore and I was always happy to be there.

My training at Reynolds Performing arts has given me so many opportunities and skills. After graduating in 2011 I was very, very lucky to be offered a job working for the college as part of the Dance faculty. It was an honour to make the transition from student to teacher. I was supported in my role and given teacher training I completed my PTTLS course and went on to thrive in my teaching role until the present.

I have taken on many roles within the Reynolds group I have taught now for 6 years at the Training Academy and it is a place I hold very close to my heart and I am very proud to be a part of. Alongside the teaching I have always stayed involved in the Fitness Spa. I have had various roles within the company and pride myself on being very knowledgeable on all areas from Fitness to Classes to the Spa. I worked in Bexley in the call centre and I was lucky enough to be involved in the opening of the Retreat and spent a lot of Weekends at the open days. I think this is one of my highlights being able to meet people face to face and share the excitement with them. I met some really valuable friends and colleagues in this period of my time at Reynolds.

From here is where I moved on to Rainham and Sittingbourne covering both reception and gym and teaching classes, eventually settling at Rainham which has been my home now for 3 years. I absolutely adore Rainham the atmosphere, the building, the members, everything about it. I have had the most amazing 3 years and met some lovely members. My job is amazing I get to chat to people every day, help them with their training and the best aspect is teaching the classes. I have so many regulars especially in my Zumba and Stretch and Tone class and we are a little community. I can honestly say I put my all into my job and the members. People don’t just come to Reynolds to work out they come for the social side and the family community. I pride myself in organising charity events and social events for our members and that is something we all look forward to.

After all my many years of working here I still look forward to my job and pride myself on doing it well. I am part of the Reynolds furniture now and I couldn’t imagine my life without it. I am thank full for all of the opportunities I have been given along the way and will continue to work hard in my roles at Reynolds and keep striving to achieve more. I’m here to make the members experience the best it can be, and if they are happy I am too.


Marissa Dunlop - Qualifications QA, Head of Singing, Year 1 Tutor RPA

I began my journey at Reynolds in 2013 as a singing tutor. Last year I was given the opportunity to be acting programme manager whilst a colleague was on maternity leave, a challenge which I thoroughly enjoyed. In August 2017 I was very excited about taking on the new role of Qualifications Quality Assurance and Year 1 tutor. It is really rewarding to be part of the Reynolds team; there is a great atmosphere in the college of a common ambition to be the best that we can be amongst both staff and students.


Carolyn Matthews, Senior Administrator, Reynolds Training Academy

I started working for Reynolds Performing Arts in April 2008 as an Administration Assistant. I was originally based at our Bexley site but am now at the Training Academy in Dartford, the Head Office. I am Senior Administrator for Reynolds Training and my work covers the administration for our performing arts, beauty & fitness training courses.

I like working at Reynolds because it is an exciting, expanding company which doesn’t stand still and I enjoy being involved with ensuring the smooth & efficient running of my area, whilst meeting the new challenges which are developing. My Reynolds journey started when I was 16 years old when I joined the Performing Arts College. I then came back to Reynolds and my employment story began! Starting off as a Dance Teacher in 2006. I have now worked for the company for over 10 years in various roles including, Assessor, IQA, Programme Manager for Performing arts and my current role Programme Manager for Beauty and Fitness. I have always been pushed to progress and further my career whilst working at Reynolds and the management staff and Directors have supported me throughout this process.

I started off as a learner many years ago and have now worked my way up to Senior Management, this is proof that Reynolds really do ‘help you grow’.
