Area Manager

RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior General Manager & Sales Director

– Responsible for the sales and operations of 3 clubs
– To understand and promote Reynolds Fitness Spa core values and mission statement.
– To facilitate development, growth, productivity and profitably of the business
– To manage with integrity and ensure operational and compliance procedures are followed
– To ensure membership and revenue streams are achieved
– To ensure that sales targets are achieved on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
– To ensure operational standards and procedures are adhered to at all times

Job role and responsibilities:

• Ensure all club managers fulfill their duties outlined in their roles and responsibilities in all areas.
• To carry out and/or support club managers with interviews for new required staff following company procedures.
• Ensure all new staff have been are fully inducted into the company by club managers or relevant HODs/Team Leaders
• Ensure all staff have had annual an review, with SMART objectives set and reviewed
• Ensure training is given to new and existing staff of all procedures required to carry out their role.
• Arrange any additional training as required
• Work closely with club managers and team leaders on daily management and operation of the business
• Ensure the correct monitoring of time and attendance is completed
• Support club managers with any HR/staff/disciplinary issues and keep the senior management team fully informed of any incidents


• Ensure club managers and team leaders fully understand all the H&S requirements of their role and that of their team.
• Ensure H&S compliance and monitored delegated H&S procedures
• Complete monthly H&S audits for all clubs
• Complete monthly club quality and standard audits, and agree action plan with senior management team
• Ensure maintenance issues are dealt within a timely fashion, ensuring prioritizing customer facing work
• Check quality and timelines of reports and paperwork completed at each club


• Continually assess profit and loss in all aspects of club, identify and report and action any shortfall/overspend
• Manage club performance against agreed budgets and targets
• Supply all KPI reports at quarterly business review meetings, analysing data and providing suggested solutions

Sales, Marketing and Promotions

• Ensure all agreed promotions, sales initiatives and retention promotions are disseminate throughout the group of clubs, monitoring KPIs
• Ensure all sales and membership paperwork is completed and checked prior to submission
• Contribute to retention, promotions, internal and external marketing ideas.
• Provide articles and social media feed, monitoring quality to marketing department. (Newsletter, editorials, facebook, twitter, etc.)
• To motivate your team leaders to achieve all their team targets

Customer Service Advisor

Location: Borough Green, Sevenoaks, Kent

Salary: Basic Salary DOE + Commission + gym membership

Job type: Full Time – 40 hours per week


The role is to assist existing and new customers with all enquiries.

The post holder will work within our Head Office Customer Service Team managing existing member and new customer enquiries. Reynolds Customers Advisors work to daily KPIs such as speed of response time to our existing members and the post holder will enjoy achieving and exceeding targets. Working within a team and having a can do attitude is paramount to being successful within this role.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Administration of Membership Payments
  • Booking of Appointments for our Club’s Membership Teams
  • Working with our club Spa Teams booking and confirming beauty appointments
  • Administration of enquiries for Events & Functions
  • Filtering email and telephone enquiries to the relevant club teams

Required experience and skills:

  • Ability to maintain customer privacy and confidentially
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office equipment and Computers
  • Previous experience in Customer Service Advisors role preferred
  • Ability to manage time and priorities tasks
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision but excel within a team
  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to self-evaluate one’s own learning needs and seek out educational opportunities

Programme Manager

The Programme Manager for beauty and fitness is responsible to the Principal of Reynolds Training Academy for leadership, advocacy and promotion of the highest possible standards in learning, teaching and performance activity of the beauty faculty of Reynolds Training Academy. This includes oversight of the planning and delivery of the NVQ programmes in line with Reynolds Training Academy’s mission, vision and strategic priorities, as well as the recruitment of its body of staff and students.

Responsibilities would include:

– Leading strategic planning and to contribute to the strategic planning of the beauty and fitness departments
– Overseeing an outstanding learning environment that offers learners the opportunity to develop their potential, progress and meet targets
– Developing closer links and understanding between faculties, performance management, and marketing and communications
– Serving as a member of Reynolds Training Academy’s Senior Management Team, working in close partnership with the Principal and other Executives and Senior Managers to complement their respective areas of responsibility and expertise
– Making a substantial contribution to the college’s strategic planning and manage the delegated budget for the beauty and fitness departments under guidance from the Principal and Head of Business Development
– Acting as an advocate for Reynolds Training Academy, attending a wide range of events and representing the college in educational, professional and other contexts, both nationally and internationally
– Playing an active role in supporting the Principal in fundraising and other developmental activities such as alumni engagement
– Taking responsibility for the leadership and management of specific projects, as identified from time to time in discussion with the Principal
– Overseeing the delivery of commercial programmes/activities in beauty and fitness as may be required by the Principal
– Line managing (including undertaking performance management reviews) all assessors, IQA’s, Personal Tutors and cover/specialist staff and/or lecturers

Required experience and skills:

– General knowledge of ESFA funding guidance and requirements
– Knowledge of IQA/EQA process and awarding bodies
– Experience in managing a team of staff and learners
– Experience of timetabling and guided learning hours requirements
– Experience of managing diverse group of learners with different levels of ability
– Safe guarding/Prevent qualification (desirable)
– Qualifications in beauty and fitness (desirable)
