Level 2 Beauty Therapy Training Course Information and Open days

Courses at level 2 are fully government funded for all ages over 16 years. Courses are delivered in term time only (KCC school terms), with attendance being 2 days a week 9.30am to 3.00pm.

Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy Make up for students aged 19+  who are unemployed and claiming benefits

Please arrive at 9.15am.  (Please note: Children are not allowed to accompany anyone to the open day)

Fees

*All learners aged 16+ will receive full government funding for a level 2 course.

Any learner aged 16, 17 and 18* will need to undertake work experience (hours vary) as part of the course. Reynolds Training Academy will support learners to find work experience placements.

*If you are aged 19+ and depending on prior qualification achievement(s), you may only be eligible for part funding. This will be discussed at open day.

*If you are aged 18 on the 31st August but 19 on the start date you will still need to undertake work experience.

All learners are required to pay a non-refundable course contribution fee. This fee will include a tunic. Further information regarding amount payable will be given on the Open Days. Payments for this will be collected on your first day of attendance.

Eligibility

You must not be on a government funded course already.

For the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy Make up you must be aged 19+,  unemployed and receiving benefits

You must have been living in the UK or EU for 3 years or more.

Functional Skills

You may be required to undertake English and Maths Functional Skills level 1 and 2 if you do not already hold a GCSE at grade C or 4-9 and above.  As a government requirement, and an essential aspect of the level 2 Junior Beauty Therapist course, you will be required at the time of enrolment, to sit an initial assessment and diagnostic tests.  This allows Reynolds to gauge your level, acknowledge prior achievement and qualification(s) and identify any support that you may need.
