Horticulture Courses

Reynolds is proud to be an Ofsted Grade 1, Beacon training provider. We always ensure that our learners receive the highest quality training and will actively support all of our learners to progress into employment and/or further training at the end of their course.

Our newly launched ‘Introduction to Horticulture’, Foundation Learning programme is specially designed for 16-18 year olds. This highly practical programme will be fun and engaging. It will provide a comprehensive introduction to all aspects of horticulture and is designed for all young people with an interest in Land and Plants.

Our courses will run for 20 hours (2.5 days) a week over an eight month period. At the end of the programme learners will have achieved the following qualifications:

  • BTEC Entry Level Award in Land-based Studies;
  • BTEC Level 1 Award in Preparation and Operation of a Tractor;
  • BTEC Level 1 Diploma in Land-based Studies;
  • Functional Skills in Maths/English;
  • Level 1 Employability Qualification.

Courses will run from our beautiful new premises in Basted, Kent, within our 15 acres of landscaped grounds, just 10 minutes walk from Borough Green train station. Free transportation to and from training site available on request. *Call for more information.
