From 3 years up
Apart from being an essential skill for the professional dancer, tap dance is one of the most enjoyable and rhythmic forms of recreational dance. The syllabi have been carefully developed in order to provide a fully comprehensive training both for children and young adults who wish to dance for pleasure and for those interested in a professional training and, therefore, wishing to study for the major Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced 1 and Advanced 2 examinations.

Class ages are just a guide if you have any queries please talk to a member of
dance staff.

Uniform
Pre Primary Tap to Grade 2

Navy blue leotard, white socks, white tap shoes, hair tied neatly.
Grade 3 to Major Levels
Turquoise key hole leotard, black leggings, white tap shoes.
Boys uniform
Black tracksuit bottoms
White close fitting T-shirt
Black tap shoes
(white leotard and black tights optional)

Black Oxford Tap shoes with teletone taps can be worn by students from grade 4 tap upwards.

New students can attend wearing suitable clothing for a maximum of 5 weeks, after which time uniform will be compulsory.
