Children’s Reports We are pleased to announce that the new children's reporting system is now in place. We hope that this will help increase the feedback between the school and its parents and ensure you are aware of you child's progress at the end of term. Please see information on the levels, grades and criteria that will be assessed below.
A guide to the Reynolds Performing Arts reporting system Reports are graded between 1 and 5 and are defined as follows:

The student may be new to the grade and the skills may only be in the basic stages for the level |

Working On |
The students skills in the area are gradually progressing |
| 3 |
Consolidating |
The student is able to combine the basics of the skill with technical knowledge and foundations |

Perfecting |
The student is able to combine technical ability and knowlwedge continuously |

Acheived |
The student is achieving this criteria at the recommended standard for progression to examination/or next level |
The criteria is divided into three sections: Social and life skills Core technical skills Specific technical skills These are then broken down into individual criteria. As your child develops through the school the levels develop with them. Grade 1 Outstanding
Reynolds Training recently received Grade 1s across the board at inspection, an accolade only a handful of training providers across the nation have achieved. Inspectors looked at all aspects of the training we offer including

• Leadership and Management
• Capacity to Improve
Beacon Status
Reynolds has also recently been awarded Beacon Stautus for its outstanding contribution to education and training
Strictly Dance Fever
Stephannie Croxson has rejoined us to complete her third year following her success on BBC1’s Saturday night prime time show, Strictly Dance Fever! Stephannie gained a place in the mansion after battling against 80,000 other dance hopefuls to gain a place in the live rounds of the show and continued all the way through the competition to the live finals.
Apprentice Awards at the Hilton Hotel
A big congratulations to all our learners invited to perform at the much acclaimed apprentice awards in London’s Hilton Hotel. The night was presented by Richard Hammond on the 15th June 2006

Reynolds Performing Arts at the Orchard Theatre Dartford
On October 5th 2006 Reynolds Performing Arts performed at the orchard theatre for Children in need – many dance school from the local area joined this charity event and a enjoyable evenings entertainment was had by all
