“I eat what I want because I use the gym”

Do you fall into this category?

Every good instructor, article, science report all agree, looking and feeling fit is 80% diet and 20% training.

If you are training then what you eat is so much more important!

You need to fuel yourself with the right food to benefit the most. A toned fit body does not happen by accident, you train hard and eat well nearly all the time. If you think that you can eat those biscuits or that chocolate bar because you’ve been to the gym then you are undoing everything you have just achieved.

80% is a useful number to work to your diet. Eat perfect 80% of the day and allow 20% of bad food.

If like many of us you find it hard to stop at 20% of bad food then try the 21 day challenge.

Find your weakness food, chocolate, crisps, biscuits, sugar and do not eat any of it for 21 days. After 21 days you will not want these foods any more and it will be easier to say no to it. Tell everyone you know that you are trying the 21 day challenge – the extra pressure will help to keep you focused.
