Due to the high demand and limited places, admission is via audition only. All applicants are required to fill in the application form and attach a recent passport size photo. On receipt of the application a confirmation letter will be mailed with a time and date for the audition.

We hold auditions throughout the year. On the day of the audition, all candidates
(parents/guardians are also welcome) are taken on a tour of the building followed by a short introduction to the college. Candidates will take part in classes prior to presenting individually prepared pieces.

Candidates are expected to prepare the following:

Dance Course
A ballet solo lasting no longer than two minutes
A modern/jazz solo lasting no longer than two minutes
Option to present a tap routine and/or a song lasting no longer than two minutes

Musical Theatre Course
A dance piece lasting no longer than two minutes
A song
Two contrasting monologues
Option to present a contrasting dance piece to last no longer than two minutes

Where appropriate, please provide a backing track on tape, mini disc or CD.

Finally, all candidates are interviewed by Emma Reynolds to assess their level of
commitment to a theatrical career. This is also a good time to ask any questions.
